September 2021 – Following AFA president Tim Wildmon’s call for AFA supporters to observe Sunday, June 13, as a Day of Prayer and Appreciation for Law Enforcement, one pastors’ coalition took action.
Pastors from 89 congregations in Richland County, Ohio, not only committed to observe the call to prayer in their churches. They also drafted a proclamation and held a press conference to call attention to their support for law officers.
In addition, some of the congregations raised $5,000 to contribute to their county and/or city law agencies.
