November 2021 – Founded in Chicago in 1934, Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) is an international organization focused on advancing the gospel, equipping the church, and helping the forgotten people of Russia. SGA partners with 6,500 churches to reach the widows, orphans, and needy people of the former Soviet Union. Spanning 5,600 miles across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, this area was once a stronghold of atheism.

“Through partnerships between evangelical churches in the U.S. and their counterparts in the former Soviet Union, God does amazing things,” explained Larry Pauley, SGA director of church missions.

SGA distributes Russian-language Bibles, plants local churches, cares for orphans, and distributes food and other basic necessities to the Russian people. During the COVID-19 pandemic, SGA has delivered groceries, meals, and supplies to more than 4 million Russian families.
