March 2021 – In January American Family Radio joined Pre-Born ministry for one week, urging AFR listeners to contribute gifts to pay for ultrasounds at pregnancy resource centers. AFR set a goal to collect pledges to pay for 3,000 of the procedures. Listeners contributed enough to provide more than 4,700 ultrasounds.
AFR general manager Jim Stanley said, “Statistically more than 80% of expectant mothers choose life after seeing the ultrasound of their baby.”
AFA is a longtime partner with Pre-Born, a ministry with two goals – first to save babies’ lives and care for mothers, and second to lead people to faith in Christ.
Pre-Born founder Dan Steiner told Stanley, “In 2020 Pre-Born saw 32,000 babies saved and over 6,500 commitments to Christ. It would be no exaggeration to say that American Family Radio is responsible for at least a third of those babies’ lives.”
